The Nitty Gritty
Choose Your Contract
Just Personal Use? - $160
If you’re booking a session for yourself or your family and plan to share the photos on social media or print them for your wall, the Standard Contract is your match. You’ll get beautifully edited images you can crop to fit your feed, but you’re not allowed to slap on filters or resell them . It’s all about keeping the art intact while giving you something special to keep.
Running a Business? - Starts at $185 an hr
Grab the Commercial Contract. It gives you permission to use the photos to promote your brand — on websites, ads, brochures, you name it . You still can’t alter the images beyond basic cropping, but you’ll have the rights you need to use them in your marketing campaigns.
Need Design Flexibility? - Starts at $210 an hr
Choose the Commercial + Overlay Contract. Along with the marketing rights, it lets you add text, logos, color washes, or other graphic overlays on top of the photos for your campaigns. You still can’t retouch the subjects themselves, but you can build a branded design around them. Perfect for those who want a custom banner or ad without messing with the core image.
Payment Terms for specific events
Base‑Session Terms – This is for most photo sessions where you’re paying a flat fee up front. You’ll need to pay the full amount no later than four days before we shoot, and that fee covers up to one hour of shooting time. If you cancel within 48 hours of the session, there’s no refund, and you’re still on the hook for the full amount (that’s our way of blocking last‑minute bailouts). If something big happens—like a family emergency or terrible weather—we can reschedule or issue a partial refund as long as we pick a new date within two weeks . Need more time on the day of? Each extra hour (or part of one) is billed at a fixed hourly rate.
Hourly‑Rate Terms – This option is built for longer shoots and events. You pay a flat hourly rate and commit to a four‑hour minimum, with payment due no later than four days before the session. If we go over the initial block, you’re billed in additional four‑hour chunks (so five hours of shooting equals eight hours billed). The cancellation, rescheduling and force majeure rules mirror the base‑session terms: no refunds if you back out within 48 hours, payment is still required, and emergency reschedules must happen within 14 days or we’ll give you a partial refund
